Splashworld is the perfect venue for groups of all kinds. Scouts, sports clubs, community groups, and school tours all enjoy supervised waterpark sessions with flumes, waterslides, a wave machine and rapids, overseen by our qualified lifeguard team.
Located right beside Tramore Beach, it’s easy to build a full day around your visit, whether that’s a trip to the All Aboard Inclusion Play Park or a walk along the 3 km Blue Flag beach.

Make a day of it! Tramore is home to the All Aboard Inclusion Play Park, a 3 km Blue Flag beach, amusements, and plenty of food options within walking distance of Splashworld.
On the Day
What Students Need
- Togs, towel & swim cap (caps available at reception for €2.50)
- €1 coin for locker (returnable)
- Goggles optional but recommended
Supervision & Safety
- Minimum 1 teacher/adult per 10 children in the water
- All children must follow lifeguard instructions at all times
- No running on the pool deck: our team will brief the group on arrival
- Children with additional needs are welcome. Please share only the information our team needs to prepare the visit safely.
Arrival
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked session
- Bus parking available at Railway Square, directly outside the centre
- Our team will meet your group at reception for a safety briefing

Popular dates fill quickly! May and June are our busiest months for school tours. We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age do children need to be?
School tours are generally suited to children aged 8 and over. However, we can accommodate younger groups by arrangement, just mention it in the enquiry form and we’ll discuss options with you.
What’s the minimum and maximum group size?
Ordinary group bookings require at least 10 people. School tours require at least 20 students. There’s no strict maximum; we can accommodate larger groups across multiple sessions if needed. Let us know your numbers and we’ll work it out.
Do teachers and SNAs have to pay?
No, teachers and SNAs go free. They’re welcome to supervise from poolside or join in the water.
Is there bus parking?
Yes, there’s bus parking available at Railway Square, directly outside the centre. Coaches can drop off and collect at the main entrance.
Can we combine the visit with other activities in Tramore?
Absolutely: many schools make a full day of it. Within walking distance you’ll find the All Aboard Inclusion Play Park, Tramore’s 3 km Blue Flag beach, local cafés, and the amusement park (seasonal). It’s a great way to round out the trip.
What if a child can’t swim?
Non-swimmers are welcome: the wave pool has a shallow end and there’s a separate toddler pool area. Our lifeguards are on duty throughout, and in-water lifeguard support is available on request at no extra charge. Please flag any non-swimmers or children with additional needs in the booking form.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Please give us at least 7 days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We’ll do our best to offer an alternative date. The €50 deposit is non-refundable if cancelled with less than 7 days’ notice.
